  1. It's funny, after reading your synopsis and seeing that it is the 26th installment, my first question was whether you've read them all-and then you answered it for me! I think it's amazing that you've gotten so much enjoyment out of the series, and it sounds really good! I enjoy the mysteries that let you get to know the detective; I've read nearly every one of Agatha Christie's Poirot novels, and I'm a huge fan of Jo Nesbo's Harry Hole books. You mentioned Tana French as a read-alike and I adored her first novel, In the Woods, but was disappointed that she doesn't keep the same detective. Also, the unanswered question at the end of that literally drives me insane. There's nothing worse than a mystery novel that doesn't solve the mystery!

  2. Wow, that’s a lot of books for a series! I’m amazed by the author’s ability to keep stories centered around the same characters interesting for so long. Great job describing this book, I am interested in learning more about these characters. I’ll have to check this series out. The authors from your fiction recommendations have been on my radar too.

  3. Fantastic annotation - full points! I've never read any of this series but your annotation sounds so appealing (and is so visually appealing). Great work as always!
